NTSC Laser Disc. - Yes, they do exist. I have all 4 commercial releases (Level Best, Live At Wembley, Fait Accompli, Guaranteed Live), but i got all mine as imports from Japan. I do know that Level Best & Live At Wembley were released in the US on LD, & video tape. Fait Accompli was available on Video tape, but not sure about the avaialability of Guranteed Live on NTSC video tape. 2. Lester Bachelor - You may have some luck getting in touch with this guy, as 'Atmosfear' were preforming in London while we were attending the Int'l levelfest. Seems some of their tunes were recently remixed, and they did their first live dates in support of the remixed versions of their tunes. So, perhaps this guy performed with them? Hope that helps. They usually have several imports in stock of things like _Level 42_, _Pursuit of Accidents_, and _Physical Presence_. Plus they should have at least one copy of _Live at Wembley_ 'cos I just saw it there the other day. -Rob ************************************************************************ Rob Kadel Department of Sociology Emory University Atlanta, GA 30322 (404)727-7510 http://userwww.service.emory.edu/~rkadel/ On Wed, 22 Jul 1998, Brian wrote: > Subject: L42 stores in Atlanta? > From: Brian > Date: Tue, 21 Jul 1998 21:21:56 -0500 > > Does anyone know of any places that carry hard to find L42 CD's in the Atlanta > Georgia area? I've noticed before that when miming playing bass, Mark has often put the strap over his right shoulder, maybe as a small protest at having to mime? Who knows? I remember somewhere in my video collection there is a clip from some European music show, (maybe Italian) where the band were miming to HIMH. Half the time Mark was miming playing bass, and the other half he was just carrying the bass around with one hand on the neck, the other hand holding the mike. The stage seemed to be set in the grounds of an old castle, or similar. Does anyone know anything more about the show??? Mark played a gig in Cornwall last weekend. Currently I don't have too much information about it at all. But the person who was there is best friend to the daughter of my good Level 42 friend (who's strategy master tapes can be seen in issue 1 of Word Machine.) She said he didn't look very well really with his short hair and all that. I hope he's OK. I'll keep you posted with info on what he played, who with (It could have been Boon on guitar, that's Boons neck of the woods), and what he said. Photos are a possibility too. Hey everyone, everything has started moving again!!!! LOZ
