And I think we all know why... ;D I'm not saying a word. Regarding Mark's upcoming shows: Can someone contact him/Crockford (if he's still Mark's manager(?))/Eagle Records about videotaping these performances? I'd do it if I were able to go, but I'm not. Since these are promotional performances, a video would be a great thing to do for the fans, particularly over her in the US where the album may or may not be released, and (realistically, but sadly) likely no US tour. I'd pay up to $25 for it, and I'm sure MANY of you would, too. This would give Eagle & Mark another promotional tool that they could send to TV/Radio, distributors, etc., the cost of shooting/producing being subsidized by us, in return for us being able to get copies (PAL & NTSC). Anyone who's got any influential contacts, PLEASE think this over and discuss it with them! ____________________ PFPD -- newmedia marketing consulting a limited liability company PO Box 281, Granger, IN 46530-0281 v:616.663.2250 -- competitive business advantages through creative technology [you're right -- yesterday's Digest was about 107kb. Now co-rekt me if I'm wrong, but thats not a good thing, not unforgivable, but nonetheless, not good. So you realise the error and attempt to redeem yourself. BY REPEATING THE WHOLE SORRY EPISODE AGAIN????????? IS EVERYONE GOING CRAZY???? AM I GOING CRAAAA---AAA---YYY---ZZZ (or Z Z Z as the americans would say) oooohhhhhh-----ooooooo---ahhhhh---hang on in there-----eee---oo -----its going to be worth it-----ooooo YYYEES. I accidently slipped into Joe Parrington mode there, but I managed to pull myself out :-) Don't worry about it mate, we all make mistakes, look at me, I almost always make one splling mishtake every digist. Anyhow come on Bilal, come on Eric, my fanzine is nearly done, all I need now is your articles. I have a scan of Dazz 5 7" acetate, it looks cool. I got 7 badges of Don Z. I recommened if you don't already have a badge, phone Don up, ask him how many he has, AND BUY THEM ALL, they're great. I'm giving 4 of mine away, and keeping three, they're so cheap you can easily afford to do that kind of thing. Isn't it great, isn't life great? I'm off now................BYE ------------------------------ Subject: Mark's upcoming gigs From: DonZipf @ aol.com Date: Sat, 27 Jun 1998 16:03:25 EDT > Does anyone have any info on where to get tickets, where in London it is > etc. I really feel like I need to be there. (How could we miss this?). And are any other members of the American delegation thinking of going? If we can be "Guaranteed" tickets, I'll seriously consider going back to England for it. Of course, if there's a proper tour later, that opens up wider range of possibilities for catching the show. What are everyone's thoughts on the subject? If they are ok, I may even bundle it up and send it out, at the moment I have a few samples and a desktop wallpaper But the ideal situation is to package everything and zip and go. Email any icons etc to me at the following address, please that is to drdave @ globalnet.co.uk Speak to you all soon. Dave ------------------------------ Subject: Bios From: Steven Hoebens Organization: TUE Date: Sat, 27 Jun 1998 23:12:16 +0200 Frans here. I suppose those Bios are interesting to read, otherwise nobody would have asked for people to send in those descriptions. Not for me anyway. What I would like to ask, can't this information be separated from the messages concerning discussions or opinions on the level42-songs and band members? For me personally, I'd like to read those only as I am interested in discussing, not in reading. I'm sure there are some people there that will agree with me, as much as I am sure that there are enough people who don't. Someone asked me what part of Adams' Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy I didn't understand. Well, none and all seems to be my best answer. There must be some hidden messages but if noone finds them, they might as well not exist. So "getting" the book is merely a question of what criteria you use and how deep you want to go. As a research supporter I try to go as deep as possible, which must result in my never ever "getting" the book. Well I've come to terms with it myself...I sleep well at night. I will only send my bio if the bios are separated from the discussion topics because I hate people taking up meaningful space (like someone who copied some earlier digests on today's edition)...but I guess there's not too many interested in it anyway. Well, goodbye and greetings. Frans (who hasn't been able to subscribe yet: still working on it)
