(I wonder how many digests would come up in the search engine under the search term "suckling pig." I'll have to check.) In closing, for anyone who doesn't know about this, go into Microsoft Word, type "I'd like to see you naked", highlight it and run the Thesaurus. Check what comes up. From: "Green, Laurence F" Date: Wed, 24 Jun 1998 15:01:00 +0100 Hello, So can a man be unmanly. Well, by our very nature, we men are manly otherwise we wouldn't be men, we'd be women. But not all of us behave manlyly (as has been pointed out on the digest over the last year or so), but sometimes 'experts' (peoples mates down the pub) spot a man who they firmly believe is NOT manly, (Re- Mike Lindup -many arguments-rows-conflicts-wars) only to find he was manly after all. But what if the proof some accepted proving he was manly, did'nt meet others standards of attaining manliness? Well, IMHO in order to be classed as "manly" you should necessarily fulfill these following criterion: Upon assuming manhood (15-18 depends) un-learn the ability to 1)put a toilet seat DOWN, 2) Replace the top of the toothpaste. Importantly any manly man will have to develop a method of 'accidently' removing the top of a toothpaste tube which is supposedly 'permanently' attached to the tube (this is very important). 3) Always replace milk/orange etc in the fridge even when there is only one drop left, and if your are about to empty the bottle, be sure to leave a very tiny amount in to justify leaving the bottle in the fridge to your partner. 4)Avoid washing unecessarly. Avoid washing necessarily. (face/body/dishes/clothes basically any kind of washing) If you fulfill these rules you are clearly a man of the highest standing and are welcone to marry my sister any day. MPEG Layer 3 Producer is a >good >windows based one I've used. For what it's worth, I have a couple programs that can convert just about any audio format into any other format. my MP3 converter uses AIFF files, but I can convert any kind of sound file into AIFF using one of my other converter programs. I can even convert MODs and MIDI files into MP3s, and I can convert MP3s back into AIFFs for making redbook audio CDs. Dunno if that helps you or not, but there it is. ;) Zak Nilsson Xaqtly Music http://www.primenet.com/~xaqtly "Carpe Canum" (Seize the Dog) ------------------------------ Subject: My Bio From: Wesley Holley Date: Thu, 25 Jun 1998 01:01:16 -0700 FULL NAME: Wesley Reed Holley SEX: Male AGE: 30 BIRTHDAY: 04/26/68 LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah HAIR: Brown EYES: Brown LANGUAGES: English (both sides of the Atlantic) MARITAL STATUS: Married OCCUPATION: Art Director/Graphic Designer for Ameritech Corporation L42 DIGEST MEMBER SINCE: 96 HOW I GOT INTO L42: Of course...Something About You MOST FAVOURITE L42 album(s): RITF MOST FAVOURITE L42 song(s): My Father's Shoes, Hot Water, To Be With You Again, Sunbed Song, Leaving Me Now MOST FAVOURITE L42 video(s): Take Care of Yourself MOST FAVOURITE L42 live gig: ...one of my MANY regrets.... From: "Charl Mocke" <9413693 @ narga.sun.ac.za> Organization: Stellenbosch University Date: Thu, 25 Jun 1998 09:44:00 +0200 Hi everyone! If you haven't visited http://www.level42.com/ lately, do so NOW! It has exiting news about Mark being the main feature in August's edition of BASSIST Magazine!!!! (He's on the front cover!) Also on level42.com, I noticed the following Guestbook entry: > Record 217 [on 3rd page -Charl] > Name: Mark King [e-mail address: "A-ha!?" -Charl] > Website: > Referred by: Just Surfed On In > From: Isle of Wight > Time: 1998-06-06 02:35:40 > Comments: Cool! !! Is this really Mark? Or a joke by someone? I doubt if Mark would surf on the internet 2:30 in the morning. I'm glad to see a lot of Bio's around; it made some VERY interesting (and humourous!) reading yesterday! BTW who *is* Winston Walker? :) Bye forever now, Charl 0000 00 Mnr Charl Mocke ============ University of Stellenbosch South Africa Home tel.: +27 21 854 8005 E-mail: 9413693 @ narga.sun.ac.za Mugshot: http://fudd.ard.sun.ac.za/surfer.jpg University Home Page: http://www.sun.ac.za/
