Computer was down, but now I'm back!!! I would like to host a Louisiana Level Fest. So bascially, my question is, how do you have a fest? I mean I just recently got hold of 2 L42 CD's. I don't this a level fest makes. So maybe I should just start out with baby steps instead of trying to have the whole enchilada. Actually, if I ever win the lottery (HA, Ha) I would make every level fest. So maybe someday, I will make it to one, but now, life's pressures and lack of funds makes it impossible. You will see a reluctant mate in tow, but he is generally a good sport. JJ Glad I found this group, and I am probably wearing a groove in my CD"s. I literally do not!tire of listening to L42. Hey, in Chilren Say, in the opening it feels as if the music is swirling around you. Is this a mixing feat, in other words--How did they do that? Thanks for any info. The design is approved, the money's paid - unless something goes awry (major finger- crossing), I should have them just in time for the ILF. Stay tuned - Z. ------------------------------ Subject: Re: Level42 Digest V98 #101 From: MGthatsMe Date: Sat, 18 Apr 1998 14:55:15 EDT I haven't been on the digest for a while and I'm sorry for that fellow headers. In responding to Level 42 in the movies, I saw one movie where they actually played themselves in a club. I don't remember the name of the movie or the premise, but it shows a young lady going thru the club and shows the band playing. I don't know if it was Love Games or Living It Up. Someone please respond if they have seen the movie. Also, has anybody heard anything about the re-releases? I live in the States and haven't heard or seen anything in any record shop. By the way I live in Houston, so I don't know if it has anything to do with that. And lastly, I don't know if I'll be able to get back to you on the digest, at least for a while. So could someone kindly keep me updated with all that goes on, please? You can reach me at my job since I have a e-mail address there. It is Michael.Garcia @ bhi.bhi-net.com. It's long I know but someone please at least once a week keep in touch with me, OK? Thank You very much. Alternatively I may stop over at my friend's place in Heathrow. Let me know so that I can make a booking soon.
