The group was called SkinnyBowJoe - but did they record any of this work? - some of their tracks are brilliant. ------------------------------ Subject: Mile High Levelfest CORRECTION From: MByrd42 Date: Fri, 17 Apr 1998 06:43:13 EDT Yesterday, I erroneously had stated that the Mile High Levelfest was on May 22. The Mile High Levelfest corresponds with the International Levelfest Day, on May 23. Anyone in the Denver, CO area who wishes to attend the local fest on May 23, please contact me at MByrd42 @ AOL.COM. "We're only human after all..." I hope we can have, at least, 10 times more than this... And I congratulate all the 560 people who participate (or just read) this Digest... that's because all of us are Level 42's fans... and who isn't? *lol* My sincerely congratulations, all the best! -- Germano G. Well we're certainly crossing our fingers, but this is the first so-called International Levelfest of sorts. I have seen video of a smaller pilgrimage to the Isle several years ago where Mark did show up for a bit. I'm not keeping my hopes up, but it would certainly be a wonderful bonus if one of the gang made an appearance. I'm just looking forward to seeing some old friends again, and meeting the rest of you that I haven't yet met! Also a note to those of you who are staying in London. I hope you all have made reservations already, as time is getting short, but I know that Winston and Lolita are staying in Kensington (not too far from the Royal Albert Hall!), and I'll be on the other side of Hyde Park at the Plaza. They're staying until Wednesday, and I'll be there until Friday morning. What about the rest of you? Also, what is Bath? (Lolita had mentioned a side trip there on Monday) And a note to Bill, Jenn, Brent and the other Seattle folk--when are you planning on getting together that weekend? Perhaps I'll call during your festivities so that you all can share in the fun :) ------------------------------ Subject: New: Level 42 Midi!! -- One In A Million -- From: "Sean D. Green" Date: Fri, 17 Apr 1998 13:35:17 -0500 Dear Levelfriends, Here it is...."One in a Million!" As per usual, I am sending this one out by request-only for now. So, please let me know if you are interested in getting a copy. It really is a great sounding midi, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it! I will try to post it on my site in the coming week, but due to current school schedule, I am too swamped to do it right now.
