The Big Blue is also nice, but not as funky. The other albums is quite different I think. Does anyone know if Serra's soundtrack to 'The Last Battle' is available? /Lars-Ove (K) e-mail: love @ iar.se --- And I won't take no souvenirs No perfumed picture promises Because it's over And I ain't coming back Level 42 - It's Over ------------------------------ Subject: RE: Level42 Digest V97 #268 From: Mike Brooks Date: Thu, 25 Sep 1997 11:58:45 +0100 The 'As Years Go By' collection.....are these CD quality or just copies of the original vinyl recordings with scratches, etc?? Also, how do I get a copy and does it have to be paid for in US Dollars or what? "Lowdown" and "What You Won't Do For Love" ! Classic blusey tunes that sound as good today as they did when first released! The Hall and Oates songs are killer too! Ya got great taste in music, Dave! Being a big Toto fan as well, I read about it in the Toto Legend magazine and, as expected, they are big on it! I plan to get a copy of it soon and look forward to hearing this well-deserved tribute to one of the best drummers I have ever heard! What a tragic loss for the music world! By the way, his brothers Seve (keyboards) and Mike (bass) have put out their own CD as the Porcaro Brothers. I will be lookng for that one as well! But, being a huge Icehouse fan, I do have to suggest their double cd remix album entitled "Full Circle". While some of the songs are a little too "techno" for me, there are some fine remixes such as: "Desdemona", "Colours" (Man of Colours), "Blue Noise" (Electric Blue), and the incredible "Great Southern Mix" (Great Southern Land). I highly recommend it to anyone into Icehouse as well as remixes.
