I am very excited about the possibilities of discussing my favorite band with others who feel the same. I have a problem, though, I live in California and have not been able to get my hands on Mike Lindup's solo album, Changes. Any information on how to get a copy?? Also, I have yet to find the US release of Forever Now which apparently has a new song I haven't heard yet!! If anyone has any info for me, I would be so grateful!! I look forward to chatting with other fans of Level 42 soon!! See ya, Les (Lesdland @ aol.com) ------------------------------ Subject: Duran Duran From: Daniel James Date: Wed, 3 Jan 96 18:03:06 -0800 Okay, we're all getting off topic here, but I don't mind... I like discussing and hearing about other bands that L42 fans like. On the topic of Duran Duran, I grabbed a tape this morning on the way to work that I'd forgotten about. Anyone else listen to the Arcadia album? I think I like this at least as much of any of their work (even though it's a spinoff project, it still feels a lot like Duran Duran, although perhaps quite a bit darker). I think most of it is excellent, and Lady Ice still gives me the chills every time I hear it. BTW, there was an interview with Nick Rhodes in Keyboard magazine around the time of it's release, and he'd said that they had worked in some sort of a transition piece to blend the two sides of the album together for the CD. I have yet to even see this album on CD, anyone know if this is true?-- =============================================================================== -- Be forwarned... I don't know if any of this stuff is available on CD, however -- I haven't bothered to look. -Eric -- Eric J.
