I put that thing on repeat and must have listened to it 7 ot 8 times. It drove my wife crazy! So, we lucked out here in UTAH again. I found the disc at Crandall Audio for $22.98 and I'm not sure, but, may have gotten the last one. If you want their number it is: (801) 226-8737.They are good about getting imports in and (if they're out) do get import orders in each week. Even though I am not the biggest fan of The Chinese Way, it's probably one of the better tracks on the disc. Very good and highly recommended. Who cares what Q Magazine said. Hot Water is possibly my favorite Level 42 song of all time. And it's a great vehicle - I've seen lots of bands cover it (bands that mostly were more "funky" than L42 in the conventional sense), and it's always a highlight of the night. One of my best experiences has been sitting with Extreme Heat in Austin and playing Hot Water with them. Damn, I love that song. -Will ------------------------------ Subject: My First time... From: EMERSON BRADASCH Date: Sat, 22 Jun 1996 18:09:26 -0300 Hi everybody, this is my first message to Level 42 Digest, and I hope it is not the last... I am from (the South of) Brazil and I am a fan of Level 42, just like you are. I read the last messages you all sent and I'd like to change informations about the new (and the old) releases from the band. I hope to hear from you as soon as possible. My chant has begun... Regards, Cassiano. ------------------------------ Subject: Re:What is he saying? From: Zak Nilsson Date: Sat, 22 Jun 1996 23:34:09 -0400 >I have a question. In the song Leaving Me Now, Mark sings the line: "Some >people kill for less, yet I'd still die for you gladly." But if you listen, >it does not sound like 'gladly,' instead it sounds like 'glassy.' Does >anyone know if Mark messed up and they never redid the song or what? This >is a question I've been pondering about for 10 years now! You know what I think that is? He is singing "yet I'd still die for you gladly", but as he sings the second syllable of "gladly", Mike chimes in in the background with "so gladly", therefore making it sound like "glassy". Listen again and you'll see what I mean. That should do it... Could someone repost the correct product code for the CD and the company who is releasing it - I checked out PolyGram here and no-one knows!!!! Thanks, Simon D
