"Take Care of Yourself" was pretty close, though. :) 'I've got more than yesterday!' Elson p.s. And what about MC Mike Lindup's rap in "Kouyate"? Hee hee, you hit the nail on the head, my friend. I like alot of 90's music, including grunge and post-grunge, but then there's REM and Hootie, and I think they do blow fish. Phil's got some nice grooves on this - boy did he crank up the batter head on the snare or what?! It sounds like a cross between the Doobies' and Cobham's snares. I don't like Mark's sound as much, to me his best sound (and his most attractive playing) is on Nik Kershaw's "Easy." Nice vocals though. ------------------------------ Subject: The Saga of the CD recorder.. From: John Venzon Date: Thu, 6 Jun 96 12:37:37 -0000 Hey you damn kids! Get the hell out of my yard!! (well, at least it is more exciting an into than, Hello All....) Last week I got my CD recorder back from Pinnacle Micro in Irvine California where they were hard at work repairing my ailing CD recorder. I got it back, hooked it up and proceeded to waste another 3 blanks! ARGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! Back in the box it went. I know, I know, we all have the story about how they took something in for repair and when they got it back, it did the same thing that it went in for, but DON'T THESE EVIL MONSTERS REALIZE people are waiting on discs? After waiting on hold for upwards to an hour at a time, I was refered to the head of customer service at Pinnacle Micro who *surprise*! Doesn't return phone calls. Wednesday left 1 message. Thursday left 1 message. Friday left 2 messages. Monday left 2 messages. Finally on Tuesday I called his office every fifteen minutes and left him a message. No return.. no return... no return calls... I finally got through to one of his lackies, was very nice and after being on hold for 15 minutes while he talked to the evil head of customer support he came back and said that they were giving me a brand spakin' new upgrade unit to the faster model. I don't know if I should be happy or not. I'll find out next week when the unit is due to arrive at my house. Grrrr..... This means gentle reader, that next week I should be back into burning the B-side discs! And only after wasting over $230 on my own blanks and shipping! Wahhooo!!!! Grrrr..... Thank God I love Level 42 so much or I'd become a mad anti-technology bomber! Hmmmm.... John
