This is what I hope... but not what I know. They went there during their Staring At The Sun tour as well (of which I've got a cassette copy). And while I'm at it, the prices I quoted were dealer prices (as the bloke in the record shop so helpfully pointed out). So the CD is more like fifteen pounds. Oops. That seems highly unlikely because HMV in New York just got them in on Monday and Winston snatched up all three of their copies on Wednesday. I strongly suggest purchasing this if you can - it is my favorite lineup of the compilations I have seen so far. The cover is very cool; it's a black and white picture of the band around the RITF time period, and the logo is white and red. I love the look. The track listing was posted the other day so I won't post the whole thing, but I will say that I like the fact that a lot of songs that haven't turned up in a lot of other Level 42 compilations are here like Love Meeting Love, Wings of Love, Can't Walk You Home, and Are You Hearing What I Hear. The order of the songs is very enjoyable also. Once again, get this if you can - you won't be disappointed. Winston ordered the Live at Wembley CD for he and I yesterday from a place on the Net called Anthem Entertainment. The web address is www.anthement.com. On another note - we're worried about Polygram coming after *us* for pressing bootleg CDs while Audiophile is making _copies_ of laserdiscs and selling them for $40!!! PLEASE! Not to cause trouble, but more than one person said Mike and Mark were working together, and they got their info from more than one source. Plus, if it's just a rumor, how did we get a name out of this (The New Avengers)? It just seems weird. It is on the import > version of True Colours I bought used for only $4!! I don't think I've ever seen a copy of True Colours that *didn't* have "My Hero" on it -- if anyone has one, can you please email me with the catalog number and a track listing? [my first copy of True Colors was the UK vinyl release that I bought used at a flea market in Vienna, Austria... it didn't have "My Hero". I'll work on getting the catalog number (my sister has the LP now). -Eric] -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo @ swcp.com; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo) ::: Selling Fax/techno/synthpop CDs - email with subject GET AUCTION for list ------------------------------ Subject: L42 Video's... I don't know for sure, but I strongly suspect that this will be the 12 Jan 1989 performance from the Staring At The Sun tour. That performance has already been released by the fan club and it'd probably be the easiest for Crockford to get his hands on. The Live At Wembley Stadium video is from 1987. -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo @ swcp.com; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo)
