From: steve @ slamsoft.netkonect.co.uk Date: Sun, 14 Apr 96 15:59:35 PDT Hi, My name's Steve, and I live just outside of London, England. I've been a Level 42 fan for over 10 years, and I've seen them twice in concert, and I've got just about everything they've done in one format or another! I've been doing a bit of CD sampling, and was wondering if anybody would be interested in listening to a song called "Easy" by Nik Kershaw, with some excellent bass-playing from our Mark King. Please send me your Email address, and I'll send you the WAV file I've done. Please note that it's about 22mb in size! ------------------------------------- Name: Steve Lamb E-mail: steve @ slamsoft.netkonect.co.uk Date: 04/14/96 Time: 15:59:35 This message was sent by Chameleon ------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Subject: Re: Level42 Digest V96 #95 From: Mikep3099 @ aol.com Date: Sun, 14 Apr 1996 13:34:54 -0400 Hi, I sent the following inquiry to the digest a couple of weeks ago. I didn't get any responses. I'm just reposting it in case anyone that can answer it missed it the first time. I'm really interested in getting these so please if you can help out with a little info, or alot, please take a minute to post the details here or e me directly. Thanks in advance. > > While I'm at it, several weeks back a couple of people mentioned that they >had picked up Brit Funk compilations that had some of the earlier remixes on >them, Love Meeting Love and Wings Of Love I believe. Mike ------------------------------ Subject: *L42 SHIRT UPDATE* From: ZNilsson @ handel.jlc.net (Zak Nilsson) Date: Sun, 14 Apr 1996 23:50:20 -0400 Hi there; Just an update on the progress of the L42 shirts: They're being printed as you read this and hopefully will be done Monday or Tuesday. I realize this leaves very little time to get them to those of you going to the IOW, but I'm willing to overnight the shirts to somebody who's going there as soon as they're done. If this seems like a good idea, I can send the shirts for all the people going to the IOW to one person, rather than overnighting 7 different packages to 7 different people, since you're all going to be meeting up anyway, right? If there's anybody from the USA making the pilgrimage, It would be *much* cheaper for me to send the shirts to you rather than overnighting them all overseas to, say, Nigel (not that I don't like you Nigel, you understand :)) If this is a good idea that people like, everybody that's going to the Isle of Wight who ordered a shirt *MUST* email me by Wednesday (Tuesday if possible) because I honestly don't know who's going and who isn't (I'm not going). OK? The rest of you will get your shirts after next week sometime, barring any unforeseen complications. Thanks Eric for the idea :) Zak Nilsson ZNilsson @ jlc.net http://www.jlc.net/~znilsson
