I didn't know that fact. Interesting. What did he play? Those of you who were bred on early 80s synthpop know Stephen "Tintin" Duffy by his biggest hit, "Kiss Me." I'm sure the chorus is familliar: Kiss me with your mouth Your love is sweeter than wine But wine is all I have Will your love ever be mine? Something like that. For the final time, we can get Changes and the Early Tapes on CD for you over here in the UK. It would be much cheaper, I'm sure of it. Why don't you send UK currency and you could have these titles within a week of receiving your money. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? And with CHANGES you could have the Special Edition with the Unreleased stuff as mentioned in the tour programme from the last tour. ------------------------------ From: lazlo @ RT66.com (Lazlo Nibble) Date: Tue, 14 Feb 1995 13:50:28 -0700 (MST) Subject: Re: UK CD's > For the final time, we can get Changes and the Early Tapes on CD for > you over here in the UK. It would be much cheaper, I'm sure of it. Unless one is buying CDs in bulk, the extra cost of doing business this way is typically more than one saves by obtaining the discs at UK retail prices (which typically aren't much better than what the discs go for in the US after currency conversion is taking into account). Barring special offers like 99p CD-singles, most UK imports only cost three or four dollars more here than they do there, whereas the last time I bought an International Money Order, it cost me over $12. That, in combination with the risks involved in buying items from someone a) I don't know b) who lives overseas, is why I'd rather simply buy the discs as imports in the US. > WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? I'd love to have it, but I want to see real numbers, not "I can probably save you some money". -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo @ rt66.com) ::: http://rt66.com/lazlo/ features Discographies, Record ::: Collecting Resources, The Internet Music Wantlists, and more.
