Kudos to the remixer to carve something so totally different from the original song. Makes for *fun* listening. Pat> However, I believe the true gems of the remix album were the Children Pat> Say and Take A Look remixes. Hey! I don't have the "Take A Look" remix on the Remixes album! Mine is a UK release with 11 tracks. What gives? Also, in case you didn't know, "Take A Look" was remixed by the same guy who did "Two Hearts Collide": Tom Lord Alge. Best guy to do L42 remixes since Shep Pettibone IMHO. RolfieV @ aol.com writes: Rolf> For those interested, I just recieved my copy of "Fait Accompli" Rolf> yesterday. It's a great video (almost as good as Bobs) Yikes! FAIT ACCOMPLI being called *almost* as good as the BobC videos?! Hansen" Date: Mon, 28 Aug 1995 00:34:01 -0400 (EDT) Good people, ADMINISTRIVIA: I've received numerous messages as of late regarding missing digests. Strangely enough (?!), however, they've *all* been from America Online users. Soooo... if you have NOT received any of the digests, PLEASE LET ME KNOW VIA EMAIL! (i.e., send mail to .) I REALLY want to get to the bottom of this problem, and step one is trying to determine how many people have not been getting email from my host. NEWS/IN THE WORKS: As an alternative to having me spend hours upons hours to manually send out missed digests (I'm just kidding... it's no problem at all!), I am planning on automatically archiving the latest digests on my WWW page (probably the previous 10 digests will be available.) This will, at least, give everyone a chance to view those mysteriously "missing" digests, and will also allow potential subscribers to "taste" before subscribing. Any comments are, as always, welcome! BTW's: 1 - I just "happened" to be visiting the Tower Records just down the street (at 11:30pm, no less) and noticed that they had three copies of Fait Accompli, and one each of Family of Five, Level Best and Live at Wembly. For you Boston folks (our ranks are growing!), get yerselves down there and complete your video collection! 2 - WWWers, check out the following picture of the band on Synth's L42 HP: . Now tell me that Mark isn't trying to do a "Napoleon" pose... 3 - I'm "in the process" of updating (read: overhauling/re-doing) my outdated (read: *way*-lame) homepage. As a bonus to all (:-), I've already uploaded some soundbites for stuff that I listen to during those _rare_ instances when I'm not on the Level. Check out: . 4 - another Boston-specific message (sorry that this doesn't really apply to about 180 people)... I rollerbladed over a scrap of paper on the street today that, upon further examination, proved to be a flyer for Jamiroquai *IN CONCERT*, who are playing at Axis on Lansdowne Street on Tuesday, September 5th (7pm). This is a MUST SEE. If anyone's interested in going, email me and maybe we can stir up a L42 posse! Oh, and there's also a sample of J's "Stillness In Time" on my HP as listed in BTW #3. Chekit! That's all for now, folks! Over and out, -Eric
