oadway thing just a few blocks away) and thought it was a fantastic show. I like both of their albums, but not because they were so great rhythmically. Stanley and Stew kinda held back on the jams on both albums, probably in an effort to showcase the songwriting and singing of Deborah Holland. TCOY, BobC ------------------------------ From: "Zaron Michael Frumin" Date: Wed, 10 May 1995 17:53:30 -0400 (EDT) Subject: Radio Show! My Level-headed friends, I have some exciting news to report (thought we could all use some of this, especially given the potentially sad news of the possible end of this very forum): I have been named the host of the '80s at 8' radio show on IMPACT 89 FM, WDBM Radio in East Lansing, Michigan. Some of you may recall from a few months back that I did a tribute to the group in response to their break-up on this station (I had asked all of you to vote for the song you felt to be most appropriate for the occasion). Now that I will be hosting the show each week, I will have a nice opportunity to re-acquaint or introduce a potential listening audience of more than ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND to the music of Level 42. There's more good news: It is my understanding that this radio station, which--by the way--is the largest & most powerful of any college radio station in the United States, will soon be broadcasting via the World Wide Web; which means that each and every one of you will soon be able to tune into my show!!! I start this Friday night at 8:p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The show airs until 10:p.m. and can be heard at this time each Friday evening. I also anticipate that I will feature many other artists who we all enjoy on the show. I've already scheduled "Lessons In Love" and Go West's "We Close Our Eyes" for my debut program. I look forward to passing more info along to you very soon, and I certainly hope that this marvellous forum will not disappear the way our favourite group did. You are all welcome to request/suggest any 80s songs for my show; I'd love to hear from each of you!!! Your fellow Level-head, Zaron (The "BIG Z") fruminza @ student.msu.edu
