Sorry to carry this one on, but I want to settle it once & for all. It's Jakko on the cover, NOT Dominic Miller, or Gary Glitter or anyone else. Also. Wembley Stadium is the big outdoors one - Level 42 have never played there, only the arena (seats around 12, 000) Ta ta! At the behest of a few of you on the list who've spoken highly of The Brand New Heavies, I went out and bought _Brother Sister_ yesterday. It's incredible! This band is just too cool. Andrew Levy is no Mark, but still his bass sounds great, and it's quite fun to jam along with his lines. Also, I'm particularly fond of the song "Fake" since it reminds me of someone. ;-) Thanks for the suggestion! I just "take a look" very quickly to the last digest's so mayby I don't understand everything about the fourth guys on the cover of Guaranteed Vince write : > No, it's Dominic Miller. Sorry guy but I was in the last concert in Paris at the "Elysee Montmartre", and I can say that the guitarist was Jakko Jaczyck(Mark introduced him to us) and he has the same face as on the cover of the Guaranteed album. For people who have the album (mine stay in France) look inside the booklet and you can read something like (I'm almost sure 99%) : "... on the cover ... Mark King, Mike Lindup, Gary Husband, Jakko Jaczyck..." Dominic Miller his more thin than Jakko and have long hair, I saw one of his picture in a mag during the Sting tour in France (unfortunatly I can't go on this concert...) "... Just you remenber very well the lesson you have learn ..." \|||/ |@ @| -------------------------ooO\ | /Ooo------------------------------ \_/ tbassett @ iserve1.infj.ulst.ac.uk ---- kult @ mime.univ-paris8.fr ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ From: "Louis Barfe's IbMePdErRoIoAmL" Date: Sat, 29 Apr 1995 23:41:17 +0100 (BST) Subject: Re: Jakko on Guaranteed cover If you refer to the guy who is not Mark, Mike or Gary on the front cover of Guaranteed (the b/w shot of the band on a boat), that is Jakko. Dominic Miller is much thinner. And very visible on Sting videos. The guy with the black curly hair and the cutlass sideburns is firmly Jakko. ------------------------------ From: Vugt Date: Sun, 30 Apr 1995 03:00:10 +0000 (GMT) Subject: Levelconcert on WDR Hi Levelfans, Just finished watching the Level42-concert on the german tv (WDR 3) filmed in Bochum (Germany) in 1983. It was great to see the guys play although it's 12 years old. There were a couple of surprises: * Leroy Williams on percussion * Boon singing (never saw or heard him sing) * A Leroy,Mike,Phil and Mark drumsolo * a few songs I never heard live (out of sight....) Got to get back to work Take care Adrian
