If Philip is on drums on the new album, does that mean that Gary Husband bailed? Is Holdsworth still with them? Also, how about a characterization of the new album compared to earlier releases? Well, I often do business with a fellow who specializes in prog (art) rock and experimental/electronic music. He can get just about anything in print, it seems, at least if it's prog. He sells imports for very reasonable prices (between $18 and $22, usually). So, if you were to ask nicely, he might order you a copy of "Forever Now". But, i asked if this was going to be an import or not. I was told that it would be a DOMESTIC release because the guy who does all of the dealings with the release dates only works with domestics (or some such nonsense)...i didn't totally understand, but that is what i was told. Sooooooo, if this is the case, then i will let you know, and then we can get the North AMericans on this list the new album for a fair price...sound good? Just don't get your hopes up too high, because lord knows what is really going on in the heads of these HMV employees. yers, the moxy woman **************************************************************** * Rachel Barreca * MUSICAL HAIRSPLITTING * * c/o U of Guelph * The act of classifying music and musicians * * 243 Dundas Hall * into pathologically picayune categories: * * Guelph, ONTARIO * "The Vienna Franks are a good example of * * Canada * urban white acid folk revivalism crossed * * N1G 2W1 * with ska." -Douglas Coupland- * ****************************************************************
