Re: Level 42 Digest, #247 Where to get "Changes" WWW Page, Anybody? ------------------------------ From: Martin Ashby Date: Thu, 24 Nov 94 11:14:50 gmt Subject: Couple of questions... Morning all: BTW, great Phil Gould interview - thanks Darrin! A question: anybody have any ideas who 'Don't bother me' is directed at? Is it vaguely biographical? Who was busy playing power games etc? I'm clueless and very nosey... Another question: Even when you're in the utterly bestest band in the world, tours might get a bit samey, so every so often you mix things up a bit and sing some alternative lyrics, you know, just to make it bearable... I remember Mark including the words: "My flies wide open, I feel a breeze..." in a rendition of _The Chinese Way_ in Stuttgart. Anybody else remember any alternative interpretations (apart from the Physical Presence version of _Living It Up_ ;)? I have not seen it in any record store. Please send response AOL @ AVEREED to help me in my quest. I'm very happy to see such Level 42 fans in exsists even if the band has broken up. Let's keep the L42 boyz alive in well in this folder .....Later......!!!!! AVEREED ------------------------------ From: eric (Eric J. Anyways, while disclaiming that this is any sort of an "advertisement" (or that I have any affiliation whatsoever with the following party!), you can get Mike Lindup's "Changes" album (which I'm listening to as I type!) at: Audiophile Imports 9711 Monroe St Cockeysville MD 21030 (410) 628-7601 Tell him you heard about them on the Internet Level42 Mailing List. I think that list members can wager a discount sooner or later (hopefully before I place my next > $100 order!) BTW, if anyone thinks putting this info on the list is poor "netiquette", please let me know. I don't want to overstep my role as the "list admin"! Eventually, A.I. is getting a net account anyways, and then they can respond to inquiries like this themselves. Happy Turkeys Everyone! Is anyone interested, or has the resources, to start a Level 42 page on the World Wide Web? For those of you who don't know what it is, it is a multimedia "page" that can be viewed on such programs a Mosaic and Netscape. A "Page" contains text, pictures, graphics, and even sound and animation/video. Many music artists have a "page" made for them, which usually includes a FAQ, as well as pictures, info and even sound samples. I'd love to see a Web page for Level 42. I'll be more than glad to help. Elson etrinida @ scf.usc.edu
