I have never seen anyone mention it!) 3) "To Be With You Again" Oh, and I'm still praying (with Rob) that someday, somehow, the guys will be so motivated to give us a little concert in the US. Well, Rob, what's going on with that? :) Deanna L. From then he wore it as a bit of a badge or trophy. The book recalls this scene in detail. ------------------------------ From: SpInFinity @ aol.com Date: Sat, 12 Nov 1994 18:33:53 -0500 Subject: letter for the digest Hi all Level fans. I'm new around the internet and wanted to say hi. I've been into Level since Something About You came in the US. I was working at Sam Goody records at the time and the asst manager (a good friend) turned me on to them big-time. I first saw them open for Steve Winwood at Madison Square Garden, and I have to admit taht I was much more into Winwood at the time. A year or so later (the summer of 1987) I had the good fortune of seeing them 3 times , up close and in person. The first was at a small club out east on Long Island called Bay Street (no longer there), then at the Ritz in NYC and finally at Toad's Place in CT. They played the same set all three nights, but I didn't care. They were so incredible! I taped the Toad's Place show and it still knocks me out every time I hear it. My buddy went on to work for PolyGram records. He sent me all kinds of press info on the band, CDs, etc. He even got us in backstage to meet the band at the Ritz show. They were all cool, but Mike was a bit on the stuffy side. Phil liked to talk, Mark was a riot, and Boon was just kind of along for the ride! I got them to autograph my ticket stub. It was an awesome night! Well, Level fans, hope to be hearing from you soon! -=Scott=- ------------------------------ From: BobC971 @ aol.com Date: Sat, 12 Nov 1994 18:52:25 -0500 Subject: Re: The Scar/3 Picks Mark's scar I believe came from a pretty vicious dog bite when he was a kid. I think I remember reading that he like it when he was growing up because it made him look rugged or something. Anyway, my 3 picks for fave songs (although I'd probably give you three different picks a week from now) are: 1. Lying Still, 2. Children Say, 3. Good Man In A Storm. These are in no particular order. BobC
