That's all I'll say. Now I'll have to go to the UK and find Mark and Mike and the rest of threm and get them to do a concert! JIP! JIP! JIP! Like most US readers I won't get to see them live. Yes we're a serious lot. This music has been with me as long as I've had mature barin cells for goodness sake! I mean the UKers saw it all and were there for it. But I got educated about L42 soon after I got net connected. They truly have been a part of my life through the years. They can't leave! I mean I'm used to them. But I guess they won't leave. I never saw them live and yes that sucks! I wanted to meet them. To tell them how their music affected my life (Eyes Waterfalling for example depicts a very real breaking away experience in my life) I kind of thought I'd always have time to see them. Some day when I got rich I could fly to the UK and beg them to come to the US and wake the world up. Now I'm wishing there was someone local to at least share what Level 42 means to me. I guess I could do that with all of you. What does Level 42 mean to me? Love, life and thoughts. All the love songs... Something About You, I Don't Know Why, Seven Days, Losso The Moon, One In A Million and Romance. And the trails.. Two Solitudes, It's Over, To Be With You Again (My two favorites from RITFM), Hours by The Window [Though that one can be life in general as well], A Floating Life (WHAM! BAM! ON THE FLOOR) Seven Years [Did anyone notice that many of the songs on Garanteed are written from a female perspective?] Life in general Eyes Waterfalling, I Want Eyes, True Believers, My Hero, Kansas City Milkman [Look at your own life and watch things around you change and see if you don't feel this way.], The Chant Has Begun. And probably the two best Life L42 songs ever... Or damn close. I don't know I'm a fan OK this isn't fare! My Father's Shoe's and A Kinder Eye. Majorly thought provoking tunes not to mention an excellent sound! My favorite album. Yeah right. I happen to like their new stuff. But anyway. Level 42 is excellent.. I don't know. I own them all. I like them all. There are specfic songs I don't like but the one's I love far outnumber the one's I don't. :) -- Mark E Daniel (Loving SysOp of The Legend BBS) Inet: mark @ legend.akron.oh.us "To the world he was the master/His landscapes medaniel @ delphi.com (Direct INet)filled the gallery halls/Now he painted only portrits/Framed upon his private walls/For a kinder eye to see us not as we are but as we dream" [Level 42 "A kinder eye"]
