This album sounds so much like Level 42 in their early days. Specifically the epononymous album and the Pursuit of Accidents. In particular, listen to School Days (the title track) and The Dancer (the third track). Mark's sound from those two albums is almost identical to Stanley's. It's pretty common knowledge that Stanley Clarke is one of Mark's stronger influences but you really get a good idea how strong from these tracks. Anyway, this is just FYI, I still have to get Forever Now. Take care of yourself, Mark B. ------------------------------ From: Evan Daum Date: Wed, 7 Sep 94 23:17:11 PDT Subject: Level 42 Bootleg Forsale Forsale: Level 42- The White Funky Recorded Live In 1983 Excellent Soundboard Quality CD $20 +shipping ,,, (o o) ----------------------------------------------------------ooO-(_)-Ooo---------- . . . | | . . . |Evan Daum | |. . . |()| . * . .| |()| . . | .| . . |University of Southern California | | | | . . . . | . . |()| . | | . |"I know." . | | . .. .|()|. | . . . . . . |. | . |-Han Solo -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
