You have ended a three-week lull in activities here! > From what people have discussed here, L42's new album won't be out until > "Early 1994," So I'm afraid your brother will have to settle for either > a late X-mas present... :) "Guaranteed: Live" is not a CD, but it is a video/laserdisc. I have a copy of the video and a friend of mine has the laserdisc. It goes for about $30-$45. Could be less, since no one is really buying it. If there is a Tower Records chain nearby, you might find it there. Your brother might have every album, but does he have "The Early Tapes?" It came out in '83 but was recorded before their first album was, in 1980. It's available primarily as an import. Mostly instrumental, fusion type stuff. Also out is an "alternate" compilation album, called "On A Level" which just came out this year. Most of the tracks come form "Early Tapes" and some of the other albums...It doesn't duplicate "Level Best" that much, al- though all but one of the songs on "On A Level" are already commercially available...all but the LIVE version of "Physical Presence," which I heard the other day and IMHO, is WAY better than the version you hear on "World Machine"! Trainspotter alert: the live "Physical Presence" was originally the B-side to "It's Over". -- Lazlo (lazlo @ triton.unm.edu) ------------------------------ From: etrinida @ scf.usc.edu (Elson Trinidad) Date: Thu, 2 Dec 1993 15:16:48 -0800 (PST) Subject: LEVEL 42's NEW SINGLE!!!!!!! I heard about L42's new single....It's called... :) "TIRED OF WAITING" Yes, folks, the new L42 single is called "Tired Of Waiting," (it echoes my sentiments about L42s new album exactly!) And it's slated to be relased in UK/Europe either sometime this month or in January. What does it sound like? I have NO idea. But it probably sounds good! Tired of Waiting, Elson
