Just went home to my parents' house last night to watch it (since I have no VCR!), and thought it was pretty good overall. I thought that some of the production was maybe a bit rough, but the music (which is of course what *really* matters) was great. A few of my favorite parts include: Mark's big bass intro to "Love Games" - this has to be the best playing I've seen from him yet. I also liked the part during "Living It Up" when Mark yells "Come on down!" and Mike starts jumping around like a crazed idiot for a while, then back to the keyboards *just in time* to start playing again. Equipment-wise, I was impressed by Mike's keyboard setup. It even seemed like he used most of it! Improvisation-wise, I think the credits would go to either Mark or Philip. I don't quite understand why they have always toured with Krys Mach... I don't think he's that great (actually, I think he's pretty bad and Gary Barnacle was much better at least in the studio.) Here's a questions for anyone else who has the Wembley video. The last song on the tape is the studio video for "Running in the Family." On mine, there's about a 10 second "black out" during which the music is still playing, but there's absolutely nothing on video -- the video just blanks out, then back in again. Anyone else have this problem? Isn't there also a "Guaranteed Live" video? Anyone care to comment on it? (Elson!) What tracks are on it, what are the bass solos like (if any), silly human tricks (like flying around on Peter Pan cables), etc? Also, does anyone know if there is a Physical Presence video? I seem to remember seeing this listed in a catalog at one point, but I'm not absolutely sure. This would probably be a really killer video since it has alot of their older stuff.
